Saige England generously offered a shout out to Secrets of the Land at her author talk at Unity Books in Wellington.
Author, poet, book reviewer Maggie Rainey-Smith in conversation with Saige England, author of The Seasonwife, published by David Bateman Ltd earlier this year.
Like Secrets of the Land, Saige's novel is set in colonial New Zealand, and has Irish characters. And by chance, like other synchronicities, both our cover designs are by the same designer Keely O'Shannessy.
